    The federal debt limit was last raised May 2003 by an insane $984 billion to $7.384 trillion dollars. Despite the fact that the limit is almost a trillion dollars higher now, we're almost bust again. We're $242 billion away from the limit.

    When the debt limit was passed it looked like to me they were pourposely raising it by enough that it wouldn't have to be raised until after the November 2004 election. Well, borrow and spend Bush is going to have to upgrade this country's credit card again before the election.

    This money is all being borrowed from our children and grand-children, and so on.
